The Town of Clarkstown and Rockland County sponsored a series of public workshops to discuss the New City Hamlet Center and create a vision plan for the area.  The study area includes North and South Main Street, the Rockland County and Clarkstown Government Centers, the Dutch Gardens and Demarest Kill Recreation areas and surrounding environs.

At each of these workshops, participants worked in small groups addressing issues related to land use, traffic, transportation and parking, streetscape, open space and park resources, and general change and redevelopment of the area.
